Terms of service

Effective 2 November 2026.

These terms are the agreement between you and PostLoop, operated by Hamed Rahimi ("we"), for using PostLoop Cloud and this website. Please read them. If you use PostLoop for an organization, you agree to them on its behalf.

The open-source edition you run on your own server is covered by its licence (GNU AGPL 3.0), not by these terms.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 16, and to give us accurate details.
  • Keep your password and API tokens safe. You're responsible for what's done with your account, including by teammates you invite and AI agents you connect.
  • Tell us at hello@postloop.dev straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.

Using PostLoop well

When you use PostLoop, you agree not to:

  • break the law, or the rules of the networks you publish to;
  • send spam, or use PostLoop to harass, mislead or impersonate anyone;
  • publish content you don't have the right to share;
  • try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, or to disrupt the service;
  • copy, resell or scrape PostLoop Cloud, except as the open-source licence allows for the code.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts others at risk. We'll tell you why, unless the law or safety stops us.

Your content

What you create and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and publish it only as needed to run PostLoop for you: for example, sending a post to the networks you choose at the time you choose. You're responsible for your content and for having the rights to it.

Connected networks

When you connect a network, its own terms and policies apply to what you publish there, and it decides what its API allows. Networks change their rules, limits and features, and sometimes a post can't go out. PostLoop always tells you when that happens and why, but we can't control the networks or guarantee they'll accept every post.

AI features

The writing assistant and Posty can be wrong. Check what they write before it's published. Posty acts only within the permissions you have and the approval setting you choose, and keeps a record of every change it makes.

Availability

We work hard to keep PostLoop running and to publish every post exactly once, at the time you chose. But no service is perfect: PostLoop is provided "as is", and we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or improve features over time, and we'll tell you before we remove anything important.

PostLoop Cloud is free while it's in early access. When paid plans launch, their prices and terms will be shown before you're charged, and you'll always be able to cancel.

Ending your use

You can stop using PostLoop at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may end these terms if you seriously break them, after telling you when we can. When an account is closed, its data is deleted as described in our privacy policy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or the actions of the networks you connect. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or CA$100 if that's more. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you keep using PostLoop after that, the new terms apply.
