Connect your first channel
1 min read
Before PostLoop can post for you, it needs permission to use your account on each network. Each connected account is called a channel.
On this page
Connect a channel
- 1Open Channels in the sidebar.
- 2Choose the network you want to add.
- 3Sign in to that network when it asks, and allow PostLoop to post for you.
- 4Back in PostLoop, the new channel appears in your list.
That's it. Your channel is ready, so you can schedule your first post.
Connecting Bluesky
Bluesky connects with an app password rather than your main password. That way you can remove PostLoop's access at any time without changing your password.
- 1In Bluesky, open Settings, then Privacy and security, then App passwords.
- 2Add an app password and copy it.
- 3In PostLoop, choose Bluesky in Channels and enter your handle and the app password.
Questions
Can I connect more than one account on the same network?
Yes. Each account is its own channel, so you can connect a personal and a business profile and choose which one each post goes to.
Which networks can I connect?
Bluesky and Mastodon work today, with more on the way. See Which networks PostLoop works with.
