Posts with pictures and video get noticed. Here's how to add them, and how to describe them so everyone can enjoy them.

Add media to a post
- 1In the composer, drop your files onto the post, or select From library to pick something you've uploaded before.
- 2Select a picture to add its alt text, a short description of what it shows.
Everything you upload is kept in Media in the sidebar, ready to reuse.
Write good alt text
Describe what matters in the picture in a sentence, as you would to a friend on the phone. Skip “image of”; screen readers already say that.
Good to know: Alt text travels with the picture, so you only write it once. PostLoop reminds you when a picture has none.
